What We Do
Advocate for thoughtful planning, preservation, and development that respects our neighborhood’s scale, history, and identity.
Collaborate with city officials, planning agencies, environmental leaders, and local organizations on issues that impact residents.
Inform the community through regular meetings, updates, and events that foster transparency and participation.
Support initiatives that protect our shoreline, improve quality of life, and prepare our neighborhood for a more resilient future.

Meetings
NEWRA works with residents and city agencies to enhance and preserve this historic Boston neighborhood. NEWRA meets the second Thursday of the month at the Nazzaro Community Center, 30 North Bennet Street.
Meeting address a wide range activities that could impact our neighborhood, including government policies, traffic, public safety, construction, public parks and open spaces. Guests include elected officials, residents, developers, and representatives of city agencies, civic organizations, and public advocacy groups.
Whether you're a lifelong resident or new to the neighborhood, your voice matters. Join us at our monthly meetings, volunteer for a committee, or simply stay informed.
