Dedicated to protecting Boston’s North End coastline through community-driven coastal adaptation solutions

As climate change intensifies—bringing rising sea levels, stronger storms, and growing environmental challenges—Boston recognizes the urgent need to adapt. That’s why we formed the Climate Alliance, a collaboration of residents, engineering firm Arup, City of Boston climate team, and environmental experts, all working together to design smart, sustainable solutions for our waterfront.

Our mission is to safeguard our waterfront through green infrastructure, nature-based defenses, and community-led planning. This project is not only designed to reduce climate risks, but also to enhance the natural beauty, livability, and sustainability of the neighborhood we all call home.
