The North End/Waterfront Residents’ Association (NEWRA) will hold its monthly meeting on Thursday, March 11, 2021 at 7 pm, via Zoom. Details on using Zoom are provided at the bottom of this post.

7:00 pm - Welcome

7:05 pm - Commissioner Dion Irish, Inspectional Services Dept, City of Boston 
Comm. Irish will discuss the Zoning Board of Appeal (ZBA) process and address concerns outlined in NEWRA's February 14 letter. 

7:50 pm - MBTA Schedule Update 
Reductions in frequency for buses and subway system begin March 14; commuter rail scheduling changes begin April 5. Presenting: Daniel Mueller, community liaison, MBTA. https://www.mbta.com/forging-ahead

8:05 - Jesse Brackenbury, executive director, Greenway Conservancy
Will be leaving the Conservancy next month for a new position in New York City.  

8:15 pm - Giacomo's Ristorante, Richard Travaglione, 355 Hanover North End LLC
Is applying to the Zoning Board for Change of Use & Occupancy on the second level of the property to extend the existing restaurant use onto the second floor. Presenting: Ryan Gazda, attorney.

8:30 pm - 96 Salem St Inc d/b/a The Wild Duck
Seeking to transfer the ownership of Retail Package Store All Alcoholic Beverage License from current license holder, Didello, Inc. License will remain at same location with the closing hour to remain 11:00pm. Jaimini Patel is the proposed Manager of Record. Presenting: John Mooradian, attorney.
