Special NEWRA Meeting on Outdoor Dining (January 12, 2023)

NEWRA will host a special meeting for the neighborhood on Thursday, January 12 to discuss with city agencies and elected officials the impacts the outdoor dining program is having on the community. The City of Boston Outdoor Dining team will attend. Updates to follow with elected officials and other agencies planning to attend.

Update on NEWRA - West End Civic Association on proposed 700' tower at North Washington & Causeway.

The ZLC will hold a meeting about three items on Tuesday, November 22, 2022 at 7:00 pm, at the Mariner's House, 11 North Square, 2nd floor. Please note that this meeting will occur in person.

341 Hanover St Wine Bottega  
New owners Ani Ajemian and Matthew Diekmann
applied to Licensing Board to transfer existing retail wine and malt license to their company, GNILES LLC.

354-356 Hanover St LLC 
Heart and Sole retail store & new building owner, seeks to change occupancy from two residential units and one store to three residential units and one store. No interior changes.

38B Fleet St
Christopher T. Fiumara, building owner, seeks to change legal occupancy from five residential units and one detached retail store to five residential units and one detached take-out, small restaurant (a conditional use in the multifamily residential subdistrict).

7:00 pm - Sidewalk, Crosswalk & Street Repairs, Carla Tankle, manager constituent relations, Boston Transportation Dept.
Discussion on plan and timeline to repair sidewalks and streets, crosswalk repainting, traffic, light synchronization.

The ZLC will hold a meeting about one item on Tuesday, July 26, 2022 at 7:00 pm, at the Mariner's House, 11 North Square, 2nd floor. Please note that this meeting will occur in person.

17 Sheafe Street 
The owner seeks to change the occupancy from a 6-unit to a 7-unit residential dwelling. The additional unit will be obtained by converting the existing basement and first-floor duplex unit into two separate units. The building will also be renovated.
